Other hack is to use the steel (metal?) mic stand (old school mic stand. Just need 5/8 to 1/4 converter thread thing, google search "Ahuja mic stand" to know what I meant) that looks similar to C stand that is relatively much cheap and as sturdy as C stand. Of course I don't recommend full fledge rig on it but something like DSLR or mirrorless rig would easily sit in it.

Good one :) Small tip for the round base: if ground is slightly uneven just double sided tape 3 equally thick small pieces of wood or similarly sturdy material underneath it makes sure it has three points of contact, eliminating any form of wobble, together with a sandbag or similar weight it’ll be rock solid :)

I went completely left field and got the YIDOBLO ZC-100BI 100W for $150. I Really don't undertand why the cx-100's battery isn't removable & not being able to use npf batteries is criminal.

Product videography is very difficult without a slider, if not impossible.

I was considering these for indoor interviews/talking head videos and I love how small they are but I think the fan noise is going to be too much even when using a lav mic. Also with how hot it gets is there any concern or issue with using a softbox? I don't want a softbox to catch on fire or melt.

Hello again Fellow Filmmaker! Need an instant advice when I try to decide if 60W is enough or if I need 100W. Besides doing indoor interviews I also need my light for product videography. I do want a quite large octagonal or parabolic softbox, preferably 85-90 cm. Will the 60W do good for a softbox that large? In short - should I consider a 100W instead of the 60W to match an large softbox and in general be more versatile and "future proof" so to say?

Does the shortcuts work on a different computer. if it does not have the Logitech app. if i set up all the shortcuts in my personal laptop(not app specific) and i want to use them in my work laptop which does not allow external apps like the Logitech app. will this work?

Hands down the best review for a key light that I have seen - and I have seen quite a few! Got all of my questions answered. One thing though.....are there situations that requires more light than 60W? Was thinking about an outdoor interview...?

I regret buying the Slypod. There is a wobble in the extended part that never gets resolved. When I spoke to the service, they dismissed it as a user error and said it was broken. Moreover, they said it can't be repaired. I bought it to shoot smooth footage, but the results are so poor that it's infuriating. I live in Turkey, and unfortunately, the Moza service did not solve my problem. It seems like a good idea, but it's not at all; your money and time will be wasted. Do not buy it.
